OUTBREAKS-UMBERABLE
HELLO there,
I found out that I have genital herpes 2 years after my son was born and after complaining to my doctor 8 days after my son was born and she said she did not see anything and kept giving me vagisil and other madications. after I had a umbelivable bad outbreak, that my genital iched so bad that I could not go to work, I went online to investigate and ater reading about all the syptoms I went for a blood test and was positive for HSV 1 and HSV 2. I was taking Valtrex daily and did not do anything for me. It actually made worse. Now I take famvir and also does not do anything for me. I get the itching and if I miss a couple days of the medication I see a sign of outbreak on my mouth. this has turned my sex life with my husband to nothing. We have not had sex in five years because I do not know how can I possibly have sex even if I use a condom and not get him infected. Besides from this, I also do not kiss my son because I am terrified to pass on to my son.
My question is: Why the medication does not work for me? Why do I get the symptoms and an outbreak every month. I eat well, I sleep well. Why do I have to suffer with this every month? Is possible that the diseases is so strong on me because it took me so long to get tested and the disease multiplied so much that i can not control it even with daily medication?
Second question: I want to have another child and my husban agreed to use insermination since a do not know hoe can I get pregnant if we barely have sex since I am terrified of giving herpes to him, especially beacause how much I suffer every month with the outbreaks. Its safe to have another child and not pass on to the child during pregnancy? I know I will have to have another C session since I have herpes. How safe is for the baby inside my belly while I am pregnant?
Is there any medicine in another country that is effective? Valtrex, Famvir, nothing works for me. It has been 5 to almost 6 years of suffering monthly with outbreaks.
Please help.
