help! strange news from Japan

I board ESL students in my home. I am expecting a young woman from Japan to arrive today. Last night, I received a disturbing phone call from Japan. Apparently, my new guest has "herpes". The man asked me if I had children in my home and if I still wanted her as a guest. I said yes. I DO have a four year old at home. Is he at risk? Please answer A.S.A.P.
