I got mono about a week ago, and I have swollen gums, very high off and on fevers, a headache that won't go away, and extremely swollen glands. I asked my boyfriend if he had it, he told me no. What or where did I get this from? I hate feeling miserable, I need help.

See a doctor. I've been three times in the past two weeks for my mono. He gave me a type of steroid to supress the swelling and make me feel more comfortable.
You can get mono from more than kissing. You could have shared a drink with someone or even just been coughed on.
