Herpes transmission

I just found out I might have gential herpes, I use my electric trimmer to shave my pubs and recently found out my brother is also using this trimmer, possibly shaving his southern region. Yesterday i noticed him scratching his groin frequently... I think I may have gave him my condition. What are your thoughts? I feel so bad, I didnt know I had it, why would he use my trimmer. :(
