swollen groin lymphs

I have the worst outbreak inside my vagina with swollen glands so sore they hurt to touch. This is a first for me. I went to my female dr. and was so swollen I could not be examined. When she told me it was a herpes outbreak, I really felt fear of this now. If anyone knows of or have experienced the painful lymph glands, please reply with any info available. Mahalo, ahuiho50

Yes that is quite common
Yes that is quite common especially with early episodes, I think it is your bodys was of working to fight the virus off. Do not touch your sores directly and if you do wash your hands right away as not to spread the virus elsewhere, (lips, nose, eyes etc). SHe should have put you on anti viral meds.
Don't upset by it
Many people who living with Herpes may face this experience. Don't be afraid. A woman on stdpal.com said she know many tips on it. Maybe you can go to this site to ask her for more information. Good luck!+
