Herpes Doctor

well, i am 16 years old and i have a girlfriend and is also 16years old, as any normal teenage couple we french kiss alot, and sometimes we get too into it that she bites my lip, i bleed, and we continue normaly. now the problem is that she has been getting bumps on her throut and is slowly coming up, now it's on the roof of her mouth and beging to form on her tongue, she has been getting fevers, and it's painful to swallow, her mom says she might have gotten herpies from me! i doubt it cause ive never had anytrhing like this and noone in my faimly has either, so i don't know. but what i want to know is, does anyone think my girlfriend might have herpes??? if yes could i have caused it???
