PLEASE HELP SHED SOME LIGHT...PLEASE

i found out i have herpes a couple months ago. but the thing is its on my upper outer thigh. how could this happen? Did a test and it said it was the hsv-2. Can i spread this to my partner by having unprotected sex? even though its not on my genitals? i am very confused about this. i have only ever had two out breaksd, first one about a year and a half ago, but it just came up like little bites, then the other outbreak was a couple months ago but it was blisters and alot of redness around it and very very sore.
i havent had any symptoms since. So can i spread this by unprotected sex? please help :(

yes it can

yes it can

how though? is it your body

how though? is it your body fluids? i thought it was only if someone touched the infected area?

you can spread herpes even

you can spread herpes even without a outbreak

Asymptomatic shedding, is

Asymptomatic shedding, is way less likely to happen on your thigh then from your mouth or genitals because they are mucus membranes and the skin is not near as thick. I would say chances would be very low of passing with no signs in that area
.

thank you. i just needed

thank you. i just needed something more than yes you can. i dont know how i got it on my leg...no idea. i dont have any on my genitals, is there a test i can do to see if i have it on my genitals? even though i havent had an outbreak?

the H lives in the nerve

the H lives in the nerve ganglion ( H 2 in the base of the spline and for H 1 ( oral) the base of the neck). , the intersection point between the spinal nerves and the nerve branches that branch out to the rest of the body, a bit like the branches of a tree, the H can come out anywhere that that nerve branch goes to, i get it on the base of me penis, lower back and the back of my thigh.it is not in body fluids ( men or woman). dont have sex from when the tingly feeling until when the blister heals up and you should be safe from passing it to others.re- the Asymptomatic shedding, hmmm, from my experience ( 23 years) as long as you have no symptoms you should be ok from passing it on. hope this helps

thank you so much for
