I have type B herpes...from the hip up...i had a break out on my upper lip last friday...so its been a week since ive had it...i thought it would have healed by now...and its in the final stage process of healing...i just really want to know if its contagious right now or should i wait until its completly gone...im going threw a divorce and the stress of that made me break out...please let me know asap...thank you so much

If I were you I would wait, its not worth it if it still is contagious. I dont have oral I have genital but i know with genital you should wait until it is fully gone, so I am sure its the same with oral... If it is in its stage of healing then you probably dont have much longer to wait, so just wait it out to be safe and then you will be better in no time and you can kiss kiss kiss :) hope my advice helped :)
