Can you be born with herpes????

My husband is in the army and called me this morning and told me that i need to get tested for herpes! He said that the doctors told him that you can be born with it! Is that possible??

yes if the mother has an ob while giving birth it is easily transmitted to the baby then. Does your mother in law have herpes??? Also your husband never ever got tested before???? That's odd.... very odd.,.....
