Herpes Doctor

but I'm stuck at work for days, and after that too busy for at least a week...here's how it is: my wife cheated on me about 11 days ago, she said she used protection, but today I noticed a rash on the shaft of my penis. I took a quick look online, and it could be a possible match for a couple of pictures, but the only discomfort I feel is a dull ache there...now, the other possibility is, I haven't been showering as often or as well as I'd like while I'm working, and it seems to me it could easily be my pubic hair, which I've let get too long, chafing my skin because my underwear are too tight. This has happened before, but it doesn't look the same...I know the doctor's office is the only way to be sure, but I'd like some advice from those with experience...it's just the one area, I'm not sure if it's blisters or hair follicles, they're not that close together and it doesn't really hurt all that bad...does anyone else have similar symptoms and been diagnosed with HSV? Anyone have any thoughts on my situation?
