The HerpesDoctor Redesign
We've made many changes to HerpesDoctor in the last week or so. Not least of which is the overall design, that i hope you'll find easy and intuitive to use.
We've also added some relevant advertising. We hope that it actually adds value rather than detract from the information we provide here. It's been 2yrs since we started this site and it's high time it paid it's way.
Community
Forums
We've expanded our Public Forums where you can ask questions, and discuss Herpes issues amongst other HerpesDoctor users.
Blogs
We've added Blogs for every user. A blog is a personal journal, or space for your own commentary on living with Herpes. You can post to your blog by hitting the "create content" link on the left, and choosing "blog entry". Once you've posted, you'll find a permenant link to your blog under "blogs", again on the left menu. This post has been posted to my own personal blog, and you can find that at http://www.herpesdoctor.com/blog/1 for example.
News
We've also upgraded our sources, and intend to supply a steady stream of the most relevant Herpes news available, in a timely manner - if you want to follow news on Herpes you can browse the Herpes News section, or better still, subscribe to our RSS feed. If you don't know what that is, don't worry, i'll be explaining how to use that in another blog post shortly.
Questions or comments
If you have questions or comments on any of the above, or suggestions on what you'd like to see here, then register or login and post a comment beneath this entry. I'll try to answer them as soon as possible.
