Can You Make Peace with Herpes?
There's an interesting perspective on Herpes been posted over at Craigslist where the author says that making peace with the virus is the way forward.
Herpes is like a seed in a desert. It will stay asleep indefinately if the signal to germinate isn't given.
So if you make a peaceful accomodation with virus and not trigger it with anger, shame, frustration or the above-mentioned triggers , herpes can quickly become a non-factor in your life and in your health.
So, can you make peace with Herpes?

I had unprotected sex about 5 months ago and just last week found some redish sores on my side. Kind of under my arm but not my arm pit. I've not had any other problems other then a little soreness in my growing. What is this?

Herpes on the Hand
Since last 4 months I'm diagnosed having Herpis on Hand. Initially It started in my Elbow and was all over the Palm. After I met several ID doctors and continued medication, now it is reduced to palm and fingers on my right hand. On the outside there are no visible marks however the pain is intense and I'm told it is nuerological and would be cured over time. I have now stopped using my right hand practically and scared to even expose it to sun so that I always keep it covered.
I'm over 70 years old. Could you please let me know if this is typical or is there any prescription drug that I could ask my doctor?
