Confused if i have herpes or not.....

Well not too long ago, a person i had sex with told me, after 4 days of having sex with me she found out she had Herpes. She then told me that she had sex with someone the day before me, and that she knows she got it from him. I went to the doctor and got checked out and the doctor told me that they counted my white blood cells. They said if i had more than 5 white blood cells in my body at the time, then it was for certain i had an STD, but i didnt ; i only had 2. She told me not to worry about it. 2 days later i find a bump on the shaft of my penis that wasnt there or that i didnt notice. It doesnt hurt but i am a little concerned. What do you think? Is it there now or am i just over exaggerating?

Genital Herpes symptoms

It seems a little strange to me that your girlfriend got Genital Herpes the day before she had sex with you. Normally, Genital Herpes take a little more than 24 hours to show up and be contagious.
I have never before heard that counting blood cells can be proof of having an STD or not. I think you should visit an STD clinic, you need to see a specialist.
Saying that, a bump on your penis is not neccessarily an STD. It could be a skin irritation.
