Constant all over body itching

Hi,

I just got diagnosed with herpes a month ago, and since then I've had itching all over my body/ The itching does not produce red bumps or anything, but I can tell you I itch a lot. I even thought I had scabies so I went to the doctor and she said I did not have scabies.

Is this herpes related? Does it have something to do with my nerves because of the virus? I itch all over...my head, my back, my hands, my legs, my toes. Everywhere.

Herpes and itching

It's Genital Herpes you have, isn't it? And you have a lot of symptoms, I've noticed.

I don't think that the itcing is Herpes related. Maybe you are overanxious about being diagnosed with Genital Herpes and the itcing is a nervous reaction. I suggest you find a local Herpes support group so you can get a good talk with people who sympathise.
