swabbing test came up postive

I was told I had herpes from a swabbing test. What are the chances this test was wrong?

Why are people so skeptical of their Dr.?
They wouldn't be gving you a test that wasn't more than 90% effective in detecting something, and if there is any doubt, they HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT. It's the law.

because Doctors are often wrong, thats why!!! and just because something is the law dosent mean they will do it. I could speak volumes on doctor screwups. you come across in your post as rude, and insensitive. i really dont think this is the place for you
Also, Herpes tests are NOT very accurate....DO SOME READING!!!..........and please dont advise anyone anymore you cause more damage than good.
