Washing with rubbing alcohol and vodka

I was recently with this girl who performed oral sex on me and than she made me wear a
condom when I had sex with her. The sex lasted for about 10 minutes and then wanted to
take off the condom
she would not let me and then told me she had herpes, I was stunned and immediatly ran to the
bathroom and soaked my genitals in rubbing alcohol and washed my face and mouth with rubbing
alcohol aswell. I then took a big huge slug of vodka and held in my mouth for a minute or
so swashing it aorund my mouth. I then showered and wahsed my self with soap and water,
and again with rubbing alcohol. I think I showered three times that night and scrubbed
my place down with alcohol.
This was 5 days ago and nothing has shown up as far as symtoms. Is there a good chance
that I killed the virus before it had a chance to enter my system and perform its furry?

How long does it take for the virus if it did enter a cut to enter my system where the
alcohol cleaning would no longer have an effect.(if anyeffect at all)

I washed no more than 2 minutes after we were together.

Please any advise would help me feel much much better.

I was once told that washign with soap and water and/or alcohol will help kill the virus. but i havce never heard that from a doctor or on any informational site about herpes. i have had partners do that before...so far, so good--every one is fine. my partner now always washes with soap and water and he's fine. i am not sure if it really does much though. keep in mind to contract the virus she had to have had a sore or she could havce had some viral shedding, which can also pass on the virus. but, if she had a sore i doubt she'd have had sex with you. viral shedding only happens a few times a year so maybe she was in the clear, too. it's hard to tell though. considering you used a condom, you are probably fine. regarding the oral sex though...the good news is that if she has hsv-2 (genital herpes) it's rare that hsv-2 likes the oral environment so contracting it there is rare. anyway, i am sure you are fine, i hope you are fine. the way i contracted herpes is from someone NOT telling me in advance. but, in future, don't do anythign with girls without protection and definitely without really knowing her and trusting her first!!!!
