Multiple symptoms no one can define

in

I was exposed to genital herpes about 4 years ago by performing oral sex on someone I did not know had the virus. A year passed and I did not develop any symptoms. However, upon waxing my upper lip for the first time, I immediately developed a small red pimple on the lip/face edge. Life was never the same after that day. For the last 3 years I have had various strange symptoms plague my lips and have not found a doctor who can identify the symptoms. The symptoms appear to be mild, but persistent, in that I am almost always experiencing some type of symptom. I do not get cold sores, but usually multiple very tiny, pimples on my lip/face area. Usually they dry up and go away within a day to three. Occasionally I get red lines or spots on lip or running from lip to face area, but they are beneathe the surface of the skin and burn. These reddened areas can appear spontaneously, especially if I'm stressed or sometimes after a hot shower. They usually fade away in a matter of hours. I also had a very small red spot directly on my lip that started as a small dot beneathe the surface. It attempted to swell to the surface but didn't amount to much. Some days it was more prominent than others. It lasted for approximately 4-5 months and then disappeared for 5 months. It is now back. Sometimes the area on my lip or face/lip edge will become extremely dry and peel. Sometimes I experience tingling and intense itching inside my lip, but nothing will erupt. Sometimes the vein or blood vessel on my lower lip seems to swell almost and throb. I tend to experience more symptoms in winter than summer, but always have some type of symptom going on. I know these symptoms are all different and odd and I'm sure I'm leaving some out, but I am convinced they are all connected as I had never even had so much as a cold sore prior to the lip waxing.
I have asked my dermatologist and my primary physician. Both say that it does not sound like herpes, but having been exposed I'm convinced that it is more logical for it to be herpes, than for it not to be. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
