Could my doctor have been wrong???

Im really new to this. i recently went to the doctor for my annual pap
and she found out that i had garderlla. so she gave me a Rx for it
and sent me on my way. a couple of days later, she called me saying
that my "pap" was consistant with herpes. not the std check but the
pap itself. since i took that Rx for gardnerella, everything went away.
i have never had any type of outbreak of any kind. do you think
that this could be a misdiagnosis?

i want to believe the same thing honey. but lets look at the facts. 70% of Americans have herpes. It is highly commom b/c a lot of them time there are no symptoms. 40 billion of us have it. dag!
i'm still in denial myself. i had the breakout and fever and flu symptoms but when i got my blood checked there were no antibodies for herpes. i am getting checked again in a month. i don't understand b/c that would mean that i get infected recently but me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 months and not cheated in the least on one another. have you had unprotected sex? and with how many? did you take a peek b4 the sneak?
ask yourself these questions. get back to me...i need the info too.

i havent gone to the doctor yet. but im going to be making
an appointment with the gyno. because i seriously dont think i have it but you know, like you said...denial is a HUGE thing. the guy that i was with told me that he just got checked. whether ot not i believe him i dont know. how did you find out that you had it?? let me know...im glad that you are there to talk to and maybe we can get through this together...talk to you soon....
