Herpes Doctor

Hello all,
I am a 37 year old female. I have been faithfully with the same man for 21 years now. I have always had HSV1 since I can remember on my lips. Just 3 years ago I also got an HSV infection on my thumb. It was originally diagnosed as shingles. Oh my stars it was the worst thing I ever experienced. The pain was actually comparable or even worse than childbirth. I have been experiencing pains all over my body since then. All my joints and muscles hurt. I get funny sensations like something crawling on me or stabbing sharp pains. I also have a host of female issues that I never had before. Recurrent yeast and bacterial infections, burning, itching so severe that I had been put on amitriptyline for my nerve endings. I have been through all the clinical tests and nothing else shows positive. Just last week I began to feel really ill again... completely washed out, aches and pains, nausea and abdominal cramps, but the most aggrevating symptom I have been having is pain in my buttock into my outer upper thigh as well as around my knee. I have been taking advil 600mg but really not much help. Last night I went to the hospital in hopes that they would tell me something concrete but no such luck. Sent home again same routine follow up with doctor!!! Been there Done that!!! I did check myself for anything in the area I really don't see anything yet but if I remember when I got the infection 3 years ago it took sometime before the actual lesions came out. Could what I am feeling now be the onset of herpes again. I have never had it in this area before. I know that I only have HSV1 by type test. I really appreciate your site thanks for making it available.Please if there is anyone else out there that has these symptoms as well contact me asap I am at my wits end!!!
I really need to know that I'm not alone in this. Thanks in advance.
