I'm new to this so was wondering if i can get some advice. What should I say when someone ask for a sip of my drink during an outbreak? How about when a girl tries to go up for a kiss? Im not very creative. Any other scenario's you've experience in the past please post too, again i just found out i have oral herpes yesterday.

Don't know if I have herpes, please help.

I woke up this morning and my top lip was kinda dry. I went to the bathroom to see if I just needed to put some lip balm on or something and noticed some canker sore like sore(s) on my inner upper lip. I know this could possibly be herpes, and while I hope it is not, could this possibly be something different?

My lip is just dry and kinda irritated. No pain, no real discomfort.

Can I spread HSV-1 from my cold sore while I shower? For example, if the water from the shower head runs down my cold sore to my genitals, can i infect myself on the genitals?

I just found out that my son has a cold sore on his lip, he has never had it before so it was a big shocker. How can i prevent it from reaccuring? He is only 10.

Possible false negative blood test?
